On September 1st 2011, Stevenage Liberal Democrats held a general meeting to debate some of the motions to be presented to the Autumn conference this weekend. Below are the results of these debates.

Lords Elections by 2015

We support this motion but wish to limit non-elected reps to 20% maximum.

Employment and Support Allowance and Work Capability Assessments.
We believe assessments should continue and we support the motion.

Higher Education Fees for Part-Time Students.
We support this motion.

Education Credit
We support in principle but are sceptical about implementation.

Protecting Individuals and Communities from Drug Harms
Majority supported with some reservations, some completely reject

Tackling Violence against Women
We support this motion but feel it is not specific enough in proposals

Science Not Stigma: Ending the Blood Ban
We support this motion.

A Green Stimulus for Economic Recovery
We support this motion.

These results are non-binding on the representatives.
